The New Shaman King Flowers Chapter 1

So I lied a little bit. I didn't get Remix Track 16 done before Shaman King Flowers Chapter 1. Oops. So instead you get Shaman King Flowers now! I think that's pretty good too! So if you want to read it, click on that colorful Yoh Hana!

Just to keep everything right, Hana's Epoch was also included in this month's Jump Kai issue. It's exactly the same as what was originally in the Mentalite and we already did. You can click on the less colorful image to get to that original release. This is the same thing as the "Shaman King Flowers Zero Story."

Also we didn't translate the ad for the Shaman King App. You need to have a Japanese phone to use it anyways. There will be a more complex overview of the app sometime next week, probably.

Thanks to the whole Mankin-Trad team for pulling together to get this great release out. The excitement for seeing what Flowers is going to be like really helps. And Takei had a great chapter to match! We look forward to working on this every month until it gets licensed in English!

New Shaman King Remix Track START!

Yup, we got the second to last one finally done. Sorry for the delay. But don't worry, Track 16, the last one is already underway! Hurray! So look forward to that. And of course, enjoy this chapter too!

Blader DJ Chapter 1!?

So we haven't gotten our hands on the "How-to" chapter of "Smash Bomber" yet. So, we might as well start up a new project right!? And here it is! It's Blader DJ! You can read the first chapter right now! This is no joke, it's a legit scanlation project.

And you ask, why are we doing this? Since it's done by the same guy who did Smash Bomber! (Now with more pee jokes!) Also, you can spot references to this series in Shaman King, Jumbor, and Ultimo. So yes, we go the extra mile to scanlate the series that have one-off references in Takei's main series.

And bringing this to us... is our new team member translator... Finale-Dizz! Here's some fun factoids:

- Finale-Dizz studied Japanese in college to the highest level possible without being a language major since about 2005.
-Finale-Dizz was introduced to Shaman King through the English dub
-After that ended Finale-Dizz found out there was a manga that was drastically different.
-Finale-Dizz got greedy waiting for Shonen jump releases did some searching and found a little site called mankin-trad.net right around the time they were releasing the last few chapters of the new ending.

And yes, we will be continueing to scanlate the entire series of Blader DJ. Don't worry, it gets better. Just know that there is a Shaman King and Jumbor reference volume 2! Plus Finale-Dizz is also working on another new project for Mankin-Trad... which should hopefully come out sooner than later! So be sure to send your thanks on this great release, and keeping our "April Fools day" release tradition alive!

And we are back with the return of the Shaman King Remix Tracks! This is the start of the final 3 chapters. Sorry for the delay in finishing these. But we are planning on releasing all before Shaman King Flowers!

Shaman King Zero Chapter 2

And we are back with chapter 2 of the Shaman King Zero storyline! This time with more Ren! And people who look like Ren! Even though this chapter is a little shorter than it should be (blame Takei on that one), it does come with a calendar! All of those scans are also included in with this release. So enjoy those as well.

I'll try my hardest to get another release out next weekend. I'm going to have a busy week, so... that hurts that a bit. But I know there will 100% be a release the following week. How do I know? Since I'm already working on that one too!

Shaman King Zero Chapter 1

After many, many, many hours of work, we've finally finished Shaman King Zero Chapter 1! I hope that you all enjoy the work we put into it. Plus we've lined it with a ton of extras that came with Jump X (Kai). But of course, we still have Dit's great translations as always paired with Jezzy's great scans. So it all rounds out to be a very nice release. Please be sure to buy all of the Shaman King Zero chapters when they get combined into a single volume later this year (probably late Spring). Buying the Jump Kai volumes is a bit hard outside of Japan, but this should be something to strive for owning in your manga collection!

Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out. If you hadn't noticed, it's a trend that we often do. Lots of chapters for a while, then burnout and then nothing. Well, the good news is that we are back in the game, and we have lots of releases being worked on. Plus some new things! That's very exciting on my end, and hopefully for you too!

Our goal right now is "weekly" releases. We'll see if we can do it. That's what I'm aiming for. So, that's what we are going to try to do. It might be bi-weekly after a little bit, since doing a 44 page chapter takes twice as long as a 19 page chapter. But a goal to shoot for is good, right? Well, that's all I got for now. Enjoy the release, and look forward to our next one... which will be.... Shaman King Zero Chapter 2! (With all the extra effort we put into all of our releases, of course!)

Need More Staff

Hello, and Happy New Year! It's been a little slow around here. But we are working on some good stuff coming soon. That's both Shaman King Zero chapter 1 and chapter 2! We'll probably release them one right after another. Not quite caught up to the Japanese release (chapter 3 comes out tomorrow), but... we are working towards it. Buy Jump Kai (If you can! It keeps selling out!).

But... you know what would help speed this process along? Some extra staff! So come join the team! Here's the positions we need right now (for Jumbor, Shaman King, and other various things):

- Translator (Japanese to English)

- Raw Cleaner

We provide the raws (all in-house) and have some ready. There is no set number of people we are looking for. Each job will have a test of sorts. You'll be working with the materials that Dit/Jezzy/BadS/andysislands work with, so nothing special. For the translator, you'll get your stuff looked over by Dit. For raw cleaning, you'll get your stuff looked over by me. We want to make sure that M-T's quality remains, and that you have an idea what you are jumping into.

How to apply? Post a comment below saying what job you want to apply for. I'll send you an e-mail, and then you can work from there. Also, I'll try my best to answer any questions as well.

Sorry for the delay, but here is Shaman King Remix Track 12! This one is based around Horohoro (sort of). I found it kinda boring. Oh well. Something is better than nothing!

It's basically the Mankin-Trad Blog, but it's going to be doing it's own thing. There are already a bunch of posts over there and it's being updated very quickly. So if you need more of a daily Shaman King fix, be sure to check that out!

Oooooooohhhh~! We are back from the grave----! Happy Halloween everyone! In celebration, I've made a very special Shaman King themed Halloween poster for you! Just click that image in this post. If you dare! It's truely scary.

But, can't make a news post without some updates, huh? Well, let's have a couple firm ones.

1. Shaman King Remix Track 12 will be out this weekend. I would like to say this is going back weekly... but with Shaman King Zero coming... that's going to take the top spot on our list.

2. The "Mankin-Trad Blog" will be opening up this Friday, we want it a couple days in advance of Shaman King Zero.

And I got some more things about the "M-T Blog" to say too. First of all, there will be spoiler posts. They will be marked, so you can just skip over them if you want. But that's the place to get spoilers well in advance of M-T scanlations. As such, you shouldn't post any spoilers for non-M-T released stuff here. We'll get to it when we do. I'll have the spoiler topics up in advance, and the old topics will also act as prediction topics. Simple right?

A sneak preview about one of the "launch window" posts I've got a couple things to say about that Halloween Poster. Fun factoids and such. Expect a bunch of posts like that in the future.

November is going to be a busy month, but alot of exciting things are coming very soon. So be sure to check out the "Mankin-Trad Blog" this Friday!
